Pine Street Scholarship Fund

This Wonderful new scholarship is named for Mrs. Alexina Jenkins, but it is in honor of all Pine Street Elementary School Teachers - past & present!

We are all so excited about the Pine Street Elementary School Scholarship which has been established by several classes of Pine Street graduates to honor the exceptional primary education afforded at Pine Street Elementary School and to assist worthy Pine Street graduates with their college expenses.

The scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating senior at Spartanburg High School in the top 20% of the class who also graduated from Pine Street Elementary.  This outstanding graduate will show leadership, good character, and financial need for collegiate expenses.  We will present the award to the winner each spring at Honors Day at SHS and 5th Grade Honors Day here at Pine Street.

If you would like to donate to this extraordinary scholarship opportunity, please consider making a contribution in any amount - there is no minimum required.  You can consider giving at one of the following giving levels:

  • Pine Tree Seedling ($10-49),
  • Pine Needle ($50-99),
  • Pine Cone ($100-199), or
  • Ponderosa Pine ($200 and above).
