Mrs. Kate Thrift-Winch

Hello! My name is Kate Thrift-Winch and I am the Elementary General Music Teacher at E.P. Todd! I will be working with Kindergarten and students in grades 1 - 5. 

I am originally from Chesnee, South Carolina. I graduated from Chesnee High School in 2009 and earned my Bachelor of Music in Education from Converse College in 2013. I have previously taught for the Union County School District in Union, South Carolina. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.

While not at school, I love to spend time with my husband, son, and daughter, and our fur babies (currently two cats and an energetic dog).  I enjoy researching Medieval and Reniassance history, and I love to knit, embroider, loom, and make soap and bath products!
