Welcome to 2nd Grade
Although this is my 8th year teaching at Todd, my teaching experience began at Z.L. Madden Elementary School in 2004. It was at Madden that I learned the skill of "kidwatching." That is watching and observing each child that entered my room and determining how I can teach them to be better socially, emotionally as well as academically. Each child is given the outlook of looking at each skill taught as a life skill that they will use to become successful as they move forward.
I've been teaching in Spartanburg County School District Seven for 16 years. I am a native of South Carolina. A graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College with an Associates degree in English, a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism. As well as a graduate of Converse College where I graduated with a Masters of Art in Teachng in Early Childhood Education and a Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Supervision and Administration. Recently I graduated from the Andersonville Theological Seminary with a Doctorate degree in Christian Counseling.
