Mrs. Patricia Pye

Hi!

I am one of the art teachers at Drayton Mills Elementary School.  I have been teaching art for 21 years with Spartanburg District 7.  For the last 11 years I taught at Chapman Elementary.  I received my B.A. in Studio Art from USC in 1981.  I received my M.Ed. in Art Education from Converse College in 1996. I love teaching art and I learn so much from my students.  For my own art I work in many different mediums, oil painting, watercolor, sculpting, stained glass and metalsmithing. I also love to work in my garden. My family includes my husband, Nick, our daughter Sydnie and our son Jake. I am so happy to be one of the art teachers at Drayton Mills Elementary School!
