Creating Beautiful Things Together

student art with a rainbow of colors
  • Visual Arts Visual Arts refers to art forms that can be appreciated visually and expressed through drawing and painting, printmaking, sculpture, and photography. Visual artists use a wide range of mediums including wire, plaster, fiber, glass, clay, metals, wax, found objects and paper. The boundaries of one’s own imagination are the only real limitations.

The E.P. Todd art curriculum provides students with the experiences to learn how to communicate through art, develop skills in visual problem solving, as well as craftsmanship and technique. Art teaches students to appreciate historical and current purposes for the creation of art and its cultural diversities. Art encourages students to make connections to real-life and other subjects. Art stimulates the development of critical and creative thinking skills.

Our students artwork is continuously on display throughout our school. Students also participate in many art shows and exhibits, winning awards and ribbons.
