The diploma program provides students with an opportunity to take the remaining courses that they would have needed to graduate from high school.  These courses are taken one-by-one and are only offered at our main campus, the David Houston Center.  

• Students take one diploma course at a time
• A minimum 60-hour seat requirement must be met for full credit courses and a minimum 30-hour seat requirement must be met for half credit courses
• All diploma curriculum is provided through computer-based instruction
• A content teacher is housed in the classroom to assist with instruction
• Students take one class at a time... if students attend every day for the full class period, a course can be completed in about 6 weeks

FEES:

• Annual Registration Fee for Spartanburg County Adult Education:   $25 for the GED & Diploma programs
• Diploma Course Fees:  $50 per full unit/credit  &  $25 per half unit/credit
