Tips for Frozen Attendees

  • We are so thrilled you will be in the audience for District Seven's production of Disney's Frozen. The students and staff have worked tirelessly to bring this fantastic musical to life on stage in our very own Fine Arts Center at Spartanburg High School. The performance runs approximately 2.5 hours. Please plan to take care of our littlest audience members should they get tired or restless. A few logistical notes to make the evening or afternoon go smoother for you, your family and friends.

    • The Fine Arts Center is the first entrance of Spartanburg High School coming from downtown. Parking for the Fine Arts Center is the first parking lot on the right once you have entered the campus. There is signage to help you locate the theater. Overflow parking is just past the Fine Arts Center. Please remember, walking from these other lots may require a bit more time. Give yourself extra time for traffic entering campus, parking and getting into the Fine Arts Center.
    • We are sold out, which means 1,000 people will attend each performance. Please try to carpool and leave yourself ample time to get to campus, park, enter the facility, purchase merchandise, get your ticket scanned and find your seat...all prior to showtime.
    • The doors to the Fine Arts Center building will open an hour before showtime. There will be tables set up in the lobby to give you the opportunity to purchase merchandise. Leave yourself browsing and purchasing time in addition to ticket scanning and locating your reserved seat time.
    • We are fortunate to have an amazing group of volunteers to help make each performance a spectacular experience for all guests as well as the cast and crew. Some of these volunteers will be in the Fine Arts Center lobby to help with merchandise sales, ticket questions, scanning and checking tickets and in the theater for seating issues.
    • CLEAR BAG POLICY – The District 7 Fine Arts Center follows the district’s clear bag policy, which you can find on our website at Allowable items include: Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”, one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar); Small clutch bags, purses or wallets, approximately the size of a hand (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”), with or without a handle or strap; medically necessary items and diaper bags (after proper inspection). Patrons will still be able to carry other items into venues, such as binoculars, cameras, and smart phones, but their carrying cases will NOT be allowed unless they meet the above criteria.

Please try to plan your day accordingly so the performers can start on time and their performance is not interrupted by theater doors opening and closing for late entrants. They have worked so hard to give you their absolute best performance of Disney's Frozen.

We are so proud that District Seven is the only school district in South Carolina to have been awarded the rights to perform this musical. If we all work together, the entire experience will be wonderful, from driving on campus to seating, through the final act of Frozen at each performance. Thank you for your never-ending support of District Seven. We truly All Belong in 7!

    See you at the Show!
