  • Only students approved for free or reduced meals (through submission of the free and reduced meal application) or who attend a CEP school are eligible for P-EBT.

    DSS and SCDE have informed school districts that there will be a P-EBT for this summer. This first payment will come out in late August for students who were approved for free or reduced meals or attended a CEP school at the end of the 2021-22 school year. These payments will not be impacted by virtual or in-person school.

    The second payment will be issued in October and will cover all students who are approved for free or reduced meals by August 16, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year.
